Nicole officially started her career in the beauty industry in 2008, but really her skincare journey started 5 years before that when she started to see an Esthetician to treat her severe acne at the age of 12.
At the age of 17 is when she started working at a local Salon and Spa as a receptionist.
Not knowing the career she wanted to pursue she remained there as the Salon Manager through college. They really became like family and she LOVED her job!
After years of college and changing majors 3 times…she wanted to be a teacher, a nurse, and then go into marketing….and then she finally realized skincare was her passion.
It was staring her in the face all those years!
In 2016 she enrolled at a local beauty school and received her Esthetic License the next year. She remained the salon manager in her current position and now provided services.
In the fall of 2019, she decided it was time to go out on her own. It kind of felt like a new life was beginning.
She rented a room here in Lake Jackson and became Desert Rose!
She grew Desert Rose and had a waitlist 2 months out by the next year.
In the fall of 2021, she had this overwhelming feeling that it was time to expand.
With months of prep, she was finally able to open up her very own storefront in May of 2022.
Now she has the most incredible team! Really! We’re not just saying that. If you’ve met them you know!
They are passionate, intentional and so kind!
It’s been such an incredible journey watching Desert Rose grow and we can't wait to continue to see where life takes it.

I’m Stephanie, the Spa Manager at Desert Rose Beauty and Wellness, where I am passionate about enhancing beauty and wellness. With almost 2 years of dedicated service at Desert Rose, I’ve brought my expertise and enthusiasm for skincare to the forefront of my role.
Driven by my lifelong interest in beauty and skincare, I find fulfillment in helping others feel their best through personalized spa experiences and rejuvenating treatments. My commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction shines through in every aspect of my work.
Beyond my professional endeavors, I find joy in coaching gymnastics, channeling my passion for mentoring and guiding others. In my downtime, I cherish moments spent with my fiancé, John, and my beloved dogs, Coco and Lexi, exploring the outdoors and creating lasting memories.
As a dedicated spa manager, I strive to bring warmth and expertise to every interaction, ensuring that each client at Desert Rose leaves feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and confident.

Even from a young age, Ashley has always loved skincare! Her mom and grandmother always included her in their skincare routines and taught her how important it was to take care of her skin.
She has personally struggled with cystic acne for over ten years and that has led her down many different paths of learning about her body and how it affects her skin.
From the food we eat to our mental health, and the things we use topically. It’s all connected!
Ashley graduated from Esthetic school in 2015 and she is so intentional and passionate when it comes to helping her clients with their skin concerns.
Fun Facts: Ashley is a mom of 2 humans, and 1 fur child, she LOVES road trips, coffee, and Mexican food!

Sam's esthetic journey began in 2019. She quickly realized waxing was one of the best ways to provide an effective and confident-boosting service.
She has since spent those years perfecting techniques and continuously educating herself.
She prides herself in the efficacy of post-wax skincare and giving knowledge to her clients.
She truly is an expert at her craft and if you haven't scheduled with her yet, I would highly recommend it!

Hi, I'm DonnaJo, and I've been a dedicated massage therapist since 2020. I graduated from the Houston School of Massage and hold a certification in cupping. I specialize in various techniques like deep tissue, Swedish, and relaxation massage, cupping, light stretching and mobilization, and hot stones. I’m passionate about providing personalized care for each client, tailoring my treatments to address your specific concerns and promote relaxation and healing. Helping others feel their best is what drives me every day.
Beyond my work, I'm a mom of two wonderful children, and I put God first in everything I do. I have a deep love for tacos, the water, and especially the beach, where I find my peace. I also enjoy the thrill of amusement parks and the magic of movies. For me, it's the simple things in life that bring the most joy.
