At Desert Rose Beauty & Wellness, we believe beauty and wellness aren't about fixing yourself, chasing perfection, or becoming more worthy of feeling good.

That's why we've created a space where professional skincare and beauty services meet intentional, human-centered care. Whether you're here for a facial, a wax, your brows, or simply an hour where nothing is expected of you, we want you to feel welcomed exactly as you are.

But it's also permission to set down the mental load for a little while.

Meet The Founder
Desert Rose was never meant to be just a place you come for an appointment.
I’ve spent more than 15 years in the beauty industry, but somewhere along the way, my relationship with beauty began to change.
After struggling with acne for years, I became fascinated with understanding skin, not simply covering up what I didn’t like about mine. That journey eventually led me to become a Licensed Esthetician and taught me to look beyond the surface, considering the many ways our skin, lifestyle, well-being, and daily choices can be connected.
But as Desert Rose grew, I realized there was something else I wanted to create here.
I wanted a place where you could care about your skin without being made to feel like there was something wrong with it.
A place where beauty services could still be fun and results-driven, but never rooted in pressure or perfection.
A place where you could walk through the doors, put everything else down for a little while, and simply be cared for.
That belief has shaped what Desert Rose is becoming today; from the way we approach skincare to the way we train our team, create our services, and care for the people who trust us with their time.
What began as a solo spa has grown into a team of talented professionals and a space I’m incredibly proud of. Along the way, I’ve been honored to be recognized as the 2024 SBA Rural Business Owner of the Year, but the part that means the most to me is what we've created right here in our community.
My hope is that when you come to Desert Rose, you leave with more than beautiful skin or freshly waxed brows.

Valeria joined the Desert Rose team in 2025 and quickly became known for her contagious laugh, warm personality, and genuine love for caring for others.
She has a gift for helping clients feel instantly comfortable, whether they're coming in for a relaxing facial or their very first waxing appointment.
Specializing in full-body waxing and facials, Valeria creates a welcoming, judgment-free experience where clients can relax, laugh, and know they're in good hands.

Laurie joined Desert Rose in 2026 after relocating from Massachusetts and brings more than 25 years of experience in the esthetics industry.
While her knowledge and expertise are extensive, what clients notice most is her calming presence and genuine care for their comfort.
Specializing in full-body waxing and facials, Laurie takes pride in helping clients feel relaxed, supported, and completely at ease throughout their visit.
Her thoughtful approach, gentle demeanor, and commitment to exceptional care create an experience that leaves clients feeling both refreshed and reassured.
Her goal is to ensure every client feels comfortable, cared for, and confident from the moment they walk through the door.
