About the owner

Nicole York is the passionate founder of Desert Rose Beauty & Wellness, and her journey to skincare expertise is deeply personal. After struggling with acne for over 15 years, Nicole finally took control of her skin by addressing the root causes and embracing a holistic approach to skincare. Through trial and error, she discovered the powerful connection between diet, lifestyle, and skin health, and it was this transformation that inspired her to help others.

Nicole’s experience in the beauty industry spans over 15 years, starting as a receptionist and working her way up to managing a successful spa. In 2017, she became a Licensed Esthetician, and in 2019, opened her own solo spa, quickly building a loyal client base even during the pandemic. Nicole’s dedication to her craft led her to open a storefront in 2022, where she now leads a team of skilled professionals committed to providing transformative skincare experiences.

Her expertise and commitment to her clients have earned her recognition, including being named the SBA Rural Business Owner of the Year in 2024. Nicole’s personal journey, professional experience, and holistic approach to skincare make her the trusted expert at Desert Rose Beauty & Wellness.
